Is GreenBook free for contractors?
Yes. It's free to join and build your profile. GreenBook's fee is added to the rate the company pays; it's never taken from yours.
Does joining guarantee an assignment?
No. Your profile makes your skills and availability easy to find. Companies choose who to engage.
When am I paid?
Within 14 days of your timesheet being approved. If something is missing (your company's invoice, verified bank details or a satisfactory right to work check), the 14 days start when it arrives.
Do I need my own limited company?
For now, yes: GreenBook engages contractors through their own UK limited company. An umbrella option is coming soon.
Does everything need to be checked before I join?
No. You can join and fill in your profile straight away. The checks an assignment needs are done before it starts.
